I love finding a blog that makes you feel like you really could rule the world of making your own awesome clothes. Doesn’t everyone? Well I feel that way when I visit Caroline’s blog, Sew Caroline. I love how she makes her clothes look so effortless to make. Let’s take a look at some of her posts and patterns.

The Out and About dress if a pattern for anyone. Knits are not as scary as you might think. Trust me they aren’t. I treat them like cotton half of the time. Pattern pieces aren’t scary either. Promise you. The awesome thing about indy patterns are how much information they have as opposed to those from big pattern companies… at least that is my opinion. This dress can be long or short, sleeves or not. SO many variations will make it your go to dress.

She also has a ebook called Sew A Skirt which will help you learn how to make a skirt that will custom fit you. You will take your measurements and Caroline will guide along in the ebook on how to apply those measurements to making your own custom fit skirt. Pretty cool huh? It is so nice to have a pattern like this because once you learn those basics it makes it so much easier to look at other patterns and apply what you learned.

I talked a little about how excited I am for the release of the tank dress pattern. I love that it is something I can throw on and head to the pool or dress out up and wear it out. I think I will make mine a little longer than pictured here because I still end up carrying my little one around and let us be honest… flashing people as a momma is something we try to avoid. Ya hear me? Yea your kids can really embarrass you sometimes. Anyways… I will let you guys know when she releases this pattern. It will be soon I think.

And that is her studio I talked about as well on the podcast. I love it. I have to say my space is not that bright and I am so envious of all of that light. And the desk is super cute too.

Who looks at Anna Maria Horner fabric and think oh my gosh what a cute coat that would make? Well I don’t usually think that way instead I think about how could I use her velveteen to be honest. I love how Caroline used it to make an Uptown Coat. Totally adorable. I want one so bad. I think my girls would cry for their own too.

And Caroline will be on a Sew it All making her Chevron Ombre Tote.  How exciting.

Now for the fun… as if all of that up there isn’t enough inspiration. Caroline is also one of Art Gallery Fabrics Limited Edition fabric lines called Gleeful. Let’s check it out too.

And the above prints will be Knit (the first two pictured above) and Voile (the last pictured above). I am so excited about that. I think you could make so many things with these as well as the others. I can’t wait to see what Caroline will create with these.

Stay tuned because we will have a pattern giveaway soon for one of Caroline’s patterns! In the meantime check out SewCaroline.
