My friend Carolina has been a busy bee lately. We have been chatting on the c-side for the podcast and she keeps mentioning her new book that is coming out. Well I am here to tell you that it is out! You can learn how to English Paper Piece with Carolina and make some super cute projects for your home. English Paper Piecing is a fun way to sew on the go, use those fun fabrics for a new way to fussy cut, and sew shapes that are often tricky on the sewing machine. Carolina has step by step instructions for getting started and with all of the projects in the book.
This zippered pouch is a favorite of mine in the book. I love that it is using my other podcast co-host, Chris from The Tattooed Quilter’s, fabric called Blue Carolina from Riley Blake. Carolina shows you an easy way to stitch up hexies that you can turn into a super useful pouch. I have pouches for everything. And don’t be scared of that zippered because there are step by step instructions.
I really love these fun placemats too from the book. So cheerful and such a quick and useful project.
